Jacqueline Mallegni

Jacqueline is a papermaker and paper artist. Her art practice with paper and sculpture has varied from light fixtures to stone carving and three-dimensional fiber sculpture.

“Making and the merging of art and life has guided me to develop a relationship with materials that captures my imagination. My work attempts to translate the inspiration that emerges from living alongside wild landscapes integrating concepts of the ethereal journey, motherhood, vacancy, loss, renewal and how emotional responses can evoke beauty”.  I’m a member of IAPMA (International Association of Papermakers & Paper Artists), Surface Design Association, Hand Papermaking Magazine, New Mexico Women in the Arts and the Taos Arts Organization
